Icannot seem to send email
Icannot seem to send email
Solution
With the terrible increase in spam recently, many ISPs are starting to block the normal sending mail port of 25. This makes it harder for people to use their systems to send spam.
However, this can also make it hard on you to send email through your domain here on our servers.
The best solution is to use your own ISPs outgoing mail server to send email.
If you have an email address with your internet access account, they likely gave you an OUTGOING or "SMTP" server to use.
Use it.
If you cannot get an OUTGOING server to use from your own ISP, try changing the OUTGOING server ?PORT" in your email software from the standard port 25 to 587
This often work fine.
If you simply cannot get sending to work, open a ticket in the HelpDesk and we'll try to assist. In the mean-time, you may have to use WebMail to send mail.
