My Email is being blocked by other sites
My Email is being blocked by other sites
Solution
Sadly, all mail servers sometimes get blocked from larger ISPs like HotMail and Comcast etc. due to a couple reasons.
One is that someone uses a simple obvious password on their email account and a spammer's software cracks into that email account and uses it to send spam until it is caught.
Second and
far more common
is that users on the mail servers here have their local emails forwarded to them at HotMail, Comcast or wherever. When spam comes to their account locally and it is forwarded on to their other account, it is seen as spam coming from one of our email servers.
Oftentimes the user himself reports email as spam not realizing it was forwarded from
his own account here
. IMPORTANT: Even if you do not do this, others using any mail server may and when the server gets blocked it is blocked for everyone on it.
Be assured, we always automatically request any blockng be removed and that usually takes 24 to 72 hours.
The
only way
you can be sure this is not an issue is to use an outside SMTP service to send email.
